“Selfish” TEMS Receives Major Backlash For Her Outfit To The 2023 Oscars Award || See Photos

Tems is facing social media backlash after she debuted her show stopping outfit on Oscars’ Red carpet.

Tems, who is an Oscar nominee (Best Original Song-Lift Me Up) wore a stunning white gown from Lessja Verlingieri of LEVER COUTURE to the award show.

However, many felt her choice of an outfit was selfish and disrespectful because of view-blocking headpiece.

Netizens’ outrage was fueled after Oscars attendees shared photos of guests who sat behind Tems struggling to see.

One of the attendees, Jarrett Bellini took to Twitter to throw shades at Tems. He wrote “Imagine waiting your whole life to be at the Oscars and you end up sitting behind a stratus cloud.”

Prince also commented under the post “LMFAO I know whoever behind Tems is heated”.

Mission girl did not sugarcoat her words and commented that Tems disrespected the people who attended Oscar award.

“This is so disrespectful to the people sitting behind her”, she tweeted.
