Timaya’s Baby Mama Laments as Daughter Sheds tears

Motherhood is a highly revered and honored experience, yet it does not come without its own set of challenges. No one knows this better than Barbara Fumnanya Nwaokolo, the first baby mama of Nigerian singer, Timaya.

Nwaokolo has hinted at the stress and tedious responsibilities that come with being a single mom.

The mother of two children recently candidly shared her struggles and experiences of raising her two children alone on her Snapchat. Nwaokolo explained that being a single mother is often difficult, and she has to maintain a strong and supportive persona even when she is feeling drained.

The video of her eldest child crying while reflecting on the struggles of being a single mom could be viewed as a reminder of the sheer magnitude of responsibilities that come with being a single mother. As such, this illustrates the pain of having to put on a brave face for her children, yet still having the honest need for companionship and support.

Captioning the video, she wrote:

“Being a single mom ain’t no joke TBH! Still grateful to God for giving me the strength to do this. Even when tired you just have to act strong.”
